Start Outlook Express by double clicking the
icon.
1 - Click Tools, then choose Accounts...
2 - Click Add, then choose Mail...
3 - Type in your name is you would like it to appear when sending out emails
in the Display Name field.
4 - Click Next.
5 - Enter your email address as username@monisys.ca, replacing
username with your username.
6 - Click Next.
7 - Choose "My incoming mail server is a POP3 server" from
the pull down menu. Enter mail.monisys.ca for both the
SMTP(Outgoing) and POP3(Incoming) mail servers.
8 - Click Next.
9 - Click Log on using:. Enter your username in lowercase
letters. Enter your password below.
10 - Click Next.
11 - Enter a name to identify your email account. This may any name you
want.
12 - Click Next.
13 - Choose "Connect using my phone line" and click Next.
14 - Choose "Use an existing dialup connection" and select MONISYS
from the list of connections.
15 - Click Next.
16 - Click Finish.
That's it! You are now ready to send and receive email using Outlook
Express.
