56K Compatibility
There are three 56K protocols in the market today. They are:
- K56Flex Technology
- x2 Technology
- V.90 Standard
The new V.90 technology has been introduced to replace the older
K56Flex and x2 technologies.
Supported protocols here at MONISYS Internet include K56Flex, and
V.90. MONISYS does not support x2 modems, although some x2 modems
are upgradeable to the newer V.90 protocol.
